New Managing Partner at Deloitte
On 1 June 2014 Andriy Bulakh officially took up the post of Managing Partner of Deloitte Ukraine.
Andriy Bulakh joined Deloitte in 2002, and four years later, at the age of 28, Andriy became the youngest Partner in Deloitte CIS. Throughout his career, Andriy has managed a number of major audit engagements in the agricultural and industrial sectors, as well as in technology, media and telecommunications. He has led the firm’s Audit department since 2010.
Andriy says that an innovative approach, logical thinking, and ambition for development are his top priorities. “Commitment to innovation in everything, i.e. managing talent, running a business, and leading the country, is the key challenge of our time”, he remarked.
“I believe that today, one of the key objectives of Deloitte Ukraine is to involve itself and its partners substantially in the process of national reform. I am confident that the proactive involvement of every individual is a prerequisite for change”, he continued. “We are currently in the process of establishing a new function focused on rendering services to government agencies. Vladimir Vakht will lead the function, which emphasises its importance to the firm.”
Vladimir Vakht, who has been the Managing Partner of Deloitte Ukraine for the past 11 years, has made significant progress in developing the firm; under his leadership, a small office with 40 employees evolved into a major practice, rendering the full range of audit and consulting services offered by the firm. Vladimir will continue to play an important role in the firm’s development as Head of Consulting, Regional Reputation and Risk Leader, and, as confirmed above by Andriy Bulakh, the Leader of Government Agency Services.
