As many people start to prepare for New Year festivities, it has become a tradition at Deloitte to conduct a survey of consumer mood in European countries, including Ukraine. Every year we have been analyzing consumer plans with regard to gifts, budgets for the New Year meal and entertainment as well as the most popular places to do New Year shopping.
As part of the survey, we monitor how Ukrainians’ consumer priorities have changed, as well as how their costs differ from those in other European countries. In particular, we ask what consumers’ attitudes are towards brands, discounts, the comfort factor in the buying process, green goods etc.
The survey is an important indicator of consumer spending power and allows retail representatives to adapt their product range to modern needs as much as possible. The annual presentation of survey findings takes place every November.
