Tax Code of Ukraine to be passed in early autumn

Today, on 8 June 2010, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the Resolution “On public discussion of the
draft Tax Code of Ukraine”, according to which the current wording of the draft Tax Code of Ukraine will be
publicly discussed starting from 14 July 2010.


The Ukrainian parliament instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to summarize the comments and
proposals of those participating in the discussion by 5 September 2010 and submit them to the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine for further consideration.


Ukrainian MPs are planning to adopt the draft Tax Code of Ukraine at second reading, with due
consideration of the results of nationwide discussion, as summarized by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, on 10 September 2010.
