History of T N Soong & Co ( TNS)
1960 Mr. T N Soong established “T N Soong & Co”
1964 TNS represented six of nine the globe accounting originations
1985 TNS became a member firm of Author Andersen
1996 TNS Tax Consulting Co was established
1997 TNS Cooperate Consulting Co was established
2002 TNS became a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu
2003 TNS combined with D&T Taiwan as the new D&T from June 1.
History of Deloitte & Touche Taiwan (D&TT)
1954 Mr. S. T. Chiang established the new firm “Deloitte & Touche Taiwan”
1970 D&TT represented one of eight the global accounting firms, Touche Ross, providing clients services in Taiwan.
1985 D&TT became a member of Touche Ross
1989 Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Touche Ross combined to produce Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, D&TT still represented as a member
2003 D&TT combined with TNS as the new D&T from June 1.
Combination History
2002.04.11 T N Soong & Co (TNS)and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
2002.04.22 The Board of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu ( DTT ) approved T N Soong & Co (TNS) to become a member of DTT
2002.12.14 T N Soong & Co and Deloitte & Touche Taiwan signed an agreement on December 14, 2002 to deliver client services under one name, “Deloitte & Touche”. The new arrangements that take effect on June 1, 2003, mean that “Deloitte & Touche” will be the sole representative of the global organization Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) in Taiwan.
2003.06.01 T N Soong & Co and Deloitte & Touche Taiwan combined to become Deloitte & Touche (D&T) effective June 1, 2003. D&T and its broader network represent Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Taiwan.
