Deloitte focuses on the status of renewable energy resources in Turkey and in the world in the report named “New life for renewable energy resources: Renewable energy policies and expectations”. According to the report, support mechanisms have great importance in reaching the targeted amounts in renewable energy investments. In the report, it is remarked that the countries with best practices implement more than one support mechanism concurrently. The report also provides recommendations on specific steps in order to reach the targets set in strategic plans for Turkey where infrastructure works regarding support mechanisms are still ongoing.
