Deloitte Slovakia in New Office Premises

Bratislava, 2 September 2009 – the Slovak office of the international audit and consulting firm Deloitte relocated to one of the most attractive office premises in Bratislava – Digital Park II.

On the first day of the school year, 2 September 2009, Deloitte Slovakia launched its operations in new office premises on the 5th and 6th floors of the administrative complex Digital Park II on Einsteinova street.

DeloitteDeloitte Slovakia and Penta Investment Group, the developer of the Digital Park II complex, signed a lease agreement under which Deloitte Slovakia will lease 4,500 m2 of office space.

We are pleased that Deloitte Slovakia chose Digital Park II and we believe that the excellent location and high quality of the project result in highly prestigious premises,” said Juraj Šaštinský, Project Director of the Penta Group.

The new offices not only represent a new location, but also offer a better strategic position, larger capacity, and a more employee-friendly working environment. Digital Park II is a unique, contemporary project that, given its design, high number of relaxation zones and plentiful green space, was the optimal choice for Deloitte Slovakia. the inventiveness of the premises also extends to the interior design, which follows the spirit of contemporary world trends and is the creation of the reputable British architect Sevil Peach and her design studio Sevil Peach Architecture + Design (SP).

The innovative office layout enables a completely different approach to work, placing a greater emphasis on interactivity, open communication and team work. the architect’s objective was to create a more friendly and human working environment, one which is both inspirational and motivating. Deloitte Slovakia’s new premises are based on the open space concept and offer several work station options plus rest and relaxation zones. During the working day, employees can carry out work in different zones – whether at their own personal desks, in the quiet rooms designated for individual work and conference calls, or at desks designed for less formal meetings. They can also relax or take a break from working at one of the many “soft seating” and social areas.

According to Vladimír Masár, President of Deloitte Slovakia, the relocation is an important milestone in the eighteen-year history of Deloitte Slovakia. “The decision to relocate, select new premises and find a suitable deadline for the move was not easy. Our intention was to think long-term and thus, we made our decision after carefully weighing all the pros and cons.” the larger capacity, wider expansion options and strategic location were prevailing factors leading to the selection of Digital Park II. “The new office premises offer our employees a more effective and flexible working environment, one which emphasises team cooperation and allows us to both pursue our ambitious goals of further growth and provide more sophisticated services to our client portfolio.

To minimise potential losses resulting from the temporary interruption to Deloitte Slovakia’s operations, the relocation was carried out in the summer.
