Josef Kotrba

Office Managing Partner

Josef Kotrba has extensive experience of Czech and Slovak business. His priority is to further strengthen Deloitte’s position in the market. Prior to joining Deloitte in 1999, Josef Kotrba served as deputy director of the Centre of Graduate Education and Economic Research of Charles University and of the Economics Institute of the Academy of Sciences. Later he joined Česká spořitelna as a Board Member and Deputy CEO. He received his PhD degree in Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. Before his appointment he was the Partner in Charge for the Czech and Slovak financial advisory practice.

Vladimir Masár

Chairman

Vladimir Masár is the Chairman of the practice in Slovakia. Mr. Masár is oriented towards the market place working together with our partners to understand the needs of our clients and to prepare innovative solutions to the issues they are facing. Mr. Masár is responsible for developing relationships with decision-makers in all sectors of the economy in Slovakia where an international professional services firm could be of service. Mr. Masár was the Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia from July 1993 until July 1999.

Marián Hudák

Enterprise Risk Services Partner and Country Leader

Marián Hudák is a partner, leading Enterprise Risk Services in Slovakia. Since November 2005 he also assumes a leadership role of Control Assurance service line (IT risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley services, Business process risk management) in Slovakia and Czech Republic. He has a considerable experience in the area of EURO transformation, Sarbanes-Oxley services, business process risk and controls, internal audit services and information systems risk management projects. Mr. Hudák has an extensive experience in auditing of financial institutions, telecommunications and utility companies.

Zuzana Letková

Audit Partner

Zuzana Letková is a financial industry expert with more than 13 years of experience. She has overall responsibility for operational management, supervision and quality control of audits performed by the audit department, notably clients operating in the financial services including real esteat . Zuzana is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in United Kingdom and she is a licensed auditor of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors. Her clients include Tatra banka Group, Istrobanka Group, OTP banka Group, BACA Leasing Group, Bratislava Stock Exchange, Komerční banka Bratislava Group, GRUNT, Unibail Rodamco, Wustenrot Insurance and others. Zuzana is also acting as Slovak statutory auditor on real estate investments managed under AXA REIM.

Adham Hafoudh

Tax Partner

Adham Hafoudh is a Partner in the Tax & Legal function of Deloitte. He holds a degree from the Faculty of Accounting and Finance of the University of Economics in Prague. He joined Deloitte in 1999. Adham has been a Tax Partner in Slovakia since 1 September 2010 and is the leader of the Indirect Tax practice in the Prague office, which focuses on VAT, customs, and excise tax. He focuses mainly on VAT and has broad experience mainly with the VAT structuring of international business transactions and VAT compliance. His clients are both multinational and local companies across a variety of industries. Adham is a member of the Czech Chamber of Tax Advisors and he is fluent in Czech and English.

Ivan Lužica

Consulting Partner

Ivan Lužica is a Partner in the Consulting function and a Public Sector leader at Deloitte Slovakia. During nearly 15 years of experience in IT and consulting services, Ivan has led and participated in various engagements in Slovakia, in both the private and public sectors. His key responsibilities in optimising projects included analyses and the subsequent implementation of comprehensive measures related to reducing costs, increasing efficiency and outsourcing activities, including information technologies. 

Maroš Sokolovský

Financial Advisory Partner

Maroš Sokolovský is a partner in the Deloitte Central Europe regional Financial Advisory (FA) group based in the Bratislava office. In the past nine years, Maroš led and/or managed projects covering primarily corporate finance and M&A transaction services. In addition, he also managed or co-led Public-Private Partnership (PPP) advisory projects, feasibility studies, and business transactions assessment.
