Deloitte Central Europe announces ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe, based on their revenue growth in the past five years.

In order for a company, that registered for the competition, is to be considered for the ranking it must meet a number of criteria, such as yearly revenues of at least EUR 50 thousand in each of the last five years (2003–2007), have headquarters in a Central European country, develop or manufacture proprietary technologies or spend a significant amount of capital on research & development, and have an ownership structure that excludes majority owned subsidiaries of strategic entities.

The 2008 ranking represents the best year performance-wise for the winners in the nine-year history of the competition in the Central European region. On average, the five-year revenue growth for all 50 companies was 1,271 percent, which significantly exceeded the previous high of 1,089 percent in 2005.

In addition to the rankings, in this project also presents the regional CEO survey which captures the opinions and views of the Fast 50 CEOs on various issues ranging from factors contributing to company growth to these CEOs’ biggest personal challenges.
