As you are aware, the Compliance Assurance Programme (CAP) which was officially launched by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (“IRAS”) on 26 July 2007, was targeted at large businesses with annual turnover of more than S$1 billion. A new GST audit programme, Assisted CAP, is almost upon us – you should find out more.
IRAS intend to roll out Assisted CAP in early 2010 (and as soon as 1 April 2010). The new programme would have no turnover restrictions, and GST registered businesses will be encouraged to participate on a voluntary basis.
Join us on our half-day seminars, where we will share with you the IRAS requirements under Assisted CAP and how you can start getting ready, as well as the best practices for managing GST compliance risk areas more effectively. We will also discuss the IRAS requirements on GST internal controls and how you can start assessing / improving your key internal controls for GST purposes.
