Our Deloitte athletes

Here are some of Deloitte Singapore’s current and recent national athletes.

Derek Wong
National badminton player
Clients & Markets research specialist

Derek is Singapore’s top badminton player and has recently won the Men’s Singles silver medal, and a mixed team bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games 2014.

Suhailah Kariman
National netball player
Clients & Markets special projects executive

Suhailah has represented Singapore in international age group competitions such as the ASEAN Games 2006, and the Asian Youth Champs 2007.  Her most recent competition with the national team was at the Tri Series (Wales & Scotland) in February 2014.

Koh Kai Ling
National netball player (retired)
Audit manager

Kai Ling first represented Singapore in the U-19 team in the Singapore Malaysia Test Series in 2000. She is a bronze medalist in the 2002 and 2004 Asian Youth Netball Championships, and her team emerged champions in the Asian Netball Championships in 2007.

Sharlene Li
National basketball player
Audit manager

Sharlene was part of the national youth team and was drafted into the national training squad when she was 17. Her first national squad appearance was an invitation to Darwin for the Arafura games in 2005. She then played in the FIBA Asia Women Basketball Tournament ‘B’ division the same year.

Heng Hui-shan
National floorball player
Audit associate

Hui-shan first represented Singapore in 2013, and her team won the gold medal at the 2013 SEA Demo Games. She recently competed in the World University Floorball Championship 2014, where the Singapore team came in fourth.

Joscelin Kee
National floorball player
Audit Associate

Joscelin begun her professional floorball career this year and was part of the team that came in fourth place at the World University Floorball Championships 2014.

Wynne Tang
National floorball player
Financial services industry senior associate

Wynne represented Singapore and won Gold in the SEA Demo Games, with efforts paying off as floorball was subsequently included in SEA Games 2015. She competed in the World University Floorball Championships 2014, where her team came in fourth.

Jonathan Koh
National shooter (air rifle)
Financial advisory services intern

Jonathan is a two-time recipient of the Meritorious Award conferred to him by the Singapore Sports Awards. He is an individual silver medalist and team gold medalist in the air rifle category at the 2009 SEA Games and won both team and individual gold at the 2007 SEA Games.

Sean Lee
National sailor
Audit intern

Sean is a World Championship gold medalist, a SEA Games silver medalist and an Asian Games bronze medalist. He recently finished fifth in the open category of the world university match racing championships.
