Chairman, Deloitte Singapore
Chaly Mah is the Chairman of Deloitte Singapore. He is also the CEO of Deloitte Asia Pacific and Deloitte Southeast Asia. He has been with the Singapore practice for over 30 years, including five years with its Melbourne office.
Chaly is a member of Deloitte’s Global Executive, which leads and manages the global organisation’s affairs, and is responsible for determining the global vision and setting its strategic course.
He has extensive experience serving both multinational and local companies across a wide spectrum of industries from financial services to construction, electronics, retail and manufacturing. Chaly also has substantial regional experience having served and advised companies with operations in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
Chaly graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne. He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a fellow member of CPA Australia. He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore.
Chief Executive Officer, Deloitte Singapore
Philip has been with Deloitte Singapore since 1991 and was admitted as an Audit Partner in 1996. He has more than 25 years of public accounting experience in the United Kingdom and Singapore.
Philip has extensive experience in the audits of multinational and local companies in a number of industries. Besides advising companies on listing on the Singapore Exchange, he has led teams in special investigation and system audits. In addition, he has performed acquisition and due diligence reviews of companies in Asia Pacific.
Prior to being Chief Executive Officer, Philip held the position of Staff Partner and Chief-of-Operations.
Having a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Liverpool, England, Philip is a Certified Public Accountant of Singapore and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a Fellow Member of CPA Australia.
