On 12 December 2012, Deloitte held its Automotive Christmas Breakfast in the Moskvich restaurant of the Autoville Retro Mobil Museum in Moscow. More than 30 people attended the event, entry to which was free of charge. The breakfast offered a chance for those in the automotive industry to get together, reflect on the year just ending, and look to 2013, which looks to be promising for the automotive industry in Russia.
At the gathering, our Tax & Legal and Forensic specialists gave presentations to share their insights with participants. Following their presentations, participants toured the vintage cars in the museum.
During the presentations, the following topics were discussed:
- Deloitte’s Generation Y (14 to 27 years old) research into consumer behaviour
- Trends in the automotive industry in 2012: worldwide and in Russia
- R&D incentives: tax benefits for companies to enjoy

- Forensic: market observations

The event received very positive feedback from attendees, and thanks to its success, Deloitte plans to make an annual tradition of these pre-Christmas meetings.
