Capital Projects Workshop |
On Thursday, 15 November, Deloitte CIS held a Capital Projects Workshop at the Moscow office of the firm.
Why Capital Projects?
Capital investment projects are growing in scale and complexity, as global and local players pursue growth and an increased market share. The ability to plan, finance, design, build and operate significant investments is an increasingly important way to maintain a competitive advantage in a world of constrained capital and resources.
As this is a subject of great importance to organisations in the energy and resources sector, Deloitte held a workshop led by two specialists in capital projects, Jeremy Harris, a senior Deloitte UK consulting partner specialising in Capital Projects, and Clare Colhoun, CEO of 8over8, a leading provider of contract management software solutions.
At the workshop, the following topics were discussed:
- Financial modelling and business case development, including maximising project attractiveness to external investors
- Efficient and effective use of capital
- Optimal governance structures and delivery models
- Enhancing information management
- Delivering a successful operation
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the event!
