Grigory Pavlotsky is the Tax & Legal leader for Deloitte CIS. Grigory brings to the role extensive international experience working with major multinational companies, having spent six years in Deloitte’s New York office advising large US-based corporations on global restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and structured financing.
He has held many leadership roles within our firm as the head of our Tax & Legal function in Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia for three years and, before that, as the leader of our Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He has managed and participated in numerous projects with large international companies, including acquisition advisory, due diligence, and operational structuring for acquisition targets in the mining, finance and telecommunications industries. Grigory has also represented our firm in a Ministry of Finance working group to develop the Ukrainian Tax Code.
Grigory obtained a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
