Pieter Wessel is a Partner in the Tax Practice of Deloitte Romania. He first joined Deloitte in 2002, becoming the Indirect Tax team Leader and afterwards the Sub-Service line Leader for Indirect Tax in the Dutch mid-market sector (fast-growing companies with an annual turnover of 50 - 500 million Euro). With deep VAT knowledge and application of VAT legislation in numerous EU countries, his experience also includes acting as advisor on Indirect Tax matters to Energy & Utilities clients and serving a number of important clients in various industries such as banking, energy and resources, private equity funds, medical and IT&C technology.
