Andrei Burz-Pinzaru is a Partner in the Tax & Legal practice of Deloitte Romania. He is Financial Services Industry leader of Deloitte Romania and Head of the Banking & Finance legal practice in Reff & Associates, the correspondent law firm of Deloitte Romania. Andrei is also the Chair of Deloitte EMEA Banking & Finance legal service line. He has about 14 years advisory experience in banking, capital markets and M&A (including three years investment banking background), and has been working with Deloitte since 2002, having worked previously with another big four firm for two years and with a securities firm for three years. In addition to having significant experience in advising on banking and securities law and M&A transactions, Andrei also contributed to the drafting of several pieces of financial legislation (mortgage lending law, mortgage bonds and securitisation laws and the related securities/banking regulations), and is a regular speaker in events focusing on loan finance and capital markets. He is fluent in Romanian (native speaker) and English.
