Global Agenda Council for Women Empowerment

The aim of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council for Women Empowerment is to provide insights and develop recommendations to address key global challenges, especially related to women empowerment. It is part of the Network of Global Agenda Councils which includes 78 councils and represents the world’s foremost interdisciplinary brain trusts of innovative thinking and idea exchange on global issues. Councils also contribute to a number of World Economic Forum activities, including industry projects, annual and regional meeting programmes, and the Risk Response Network. Futhi Mtoba of Deloitte South Africa is a member of the Council.
