March 2, 2010 – Deloitte received the 2010 Best Consulting Firm of the Year award at the 1st GCC Compliance Awards ceremony, organized by Complinet, the leading provider of connected compliance solutions to the global financial services industry. The award ceremony took place as part of the 4th Annual GCC Regulators Summit, held in Doha on February 22-23, 2010. The summit is regarded as a leading meeting place for regulators, compliance professionals, service providers and vendors in the region.

Atif Yusuf, a Director in Deloitte’s ME Forensic and Dispute practice, also spoke on sophisticated Anti Money Laundering (AML) and how the effects of the economic downturn in the region have focused increased attention on organizations’ AML programs.
