The EU funding instrument “Life+ Environment and Policy Governance” offers the opportunity to reduce up to 50% the costs of demonstration and innovation projects contributing to the environmental protection.
Both private enterprises as well as other institutions can apply for funding, both as a single beneficiary as well as with a consortium. Eligible projects can deal amongst others with climate change / reducing CO2 emissions, improving air and water quality and reducing waste. An average cash grant within the programme amounts to EUR 1 Mio.
Next call for proposal is expected in January 2012 with the submission deadline in May.
