Welcome to 2009, we trust you are relaxed and refreshed after the holiday season.
Identity fraud and theft is an increasingly common factor in many of our investigations. These investigations often involve significant numbers of identities, documents and other data, requiring specialised tools to unravel the web and focus investigation efforts.
In this issue we feature the use of Visual Analysis in identity crime investigations. We also feature the damaging impact identity crime has on the victims.
Andrew Cathie has now joined the Forensic team, heading up our Analytic Insights capability. Analytic Insights uses advanced analytical tools to uncover intelligence from vast amounts of data that organsiations are amassing. These tools are applied to applications ranging from customer segmentation, fraud detection, marketing, credit and operations. In this issue we provide an overview of Analytic Insights and how it unlocks value (or savings in these fiscally restrained times) from organisations expensive data assets.
