Deloitte further strengthens South Island Internal Audit practice |
Deloitte has today announced the appointment of Andrew Simpson as a Senior Manager in its Internal Audit practice, based in Christchurch.
Mr Simpson has extensive experience in business risk assurance, internal audit and IT systems auditing, both in New Zealand and the U.K.
Deloitte Christchurch Managing Partner Steve Wakefield says Mr Simpson’s appointment represents a significant addition to Deloitte’s Internal Audit and Business Risk Assurance team in the South Island.
“More than ever before, CEOs and Boards are concerned about planning for risk, and so we are seeing increasing growth in our client needs in this important area. Andrew has been working with significant companies on their internal audit processes and wider business risk assurance needs for more than a decade.
“We are delighted to have Andrew on board. He is a highly experienced practitioner and he will be supporting some of the South Island’s largest businesses.”
Mr Simpson was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has worked across a range of industries including Health, Education, Local Government, Agribusiness, Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG and Technology.
