Leon Wijohn

Deloitte Private Partner and National Maori Business Sector Leader - Auckland

Leon Wijohn

Culture counts

“I am passionate about two very important business sectors; SME (small-to-medium-sized business) growth and Maori business development.  With strong experience in both sectors, I work with our support team of accounting and industry specialists to assist a wide range of organisations and industries. I thoroughly enjoy working with businesses to put in place good financial reporting systems, policies and procedures that help businesses develop, flourish and grow. I have a strong track record in the Maori sector and have helped many Maori businesses prosper through innovative successful collaborations. Most of my clients share my commercial approach to business which is about getting the waka financially ship-shape and making sure that business opportunities deliver more than just profits.  I believe good outcomes for health, education, employment and the environment must be factored into a successful long term strategy when working with Maori. With over 20 years accounting and business experience coupled with a practical approach from my consulting days, I have an extensive depth and breadth of experience to offer your business.”
