Immigration Practice
Under the Dutch Foreign Employment Law, an employer is responsible to obtain immigration clearance for non-EEA (European Economic Area) employees before the employee starts working in the Netherlands. Our immigration practice team assists and advices on immigration issues and procedures. This service will include the knowledge migrant rule, intercompany work permits, authorization for temporary stay (MVV) etc.
30% rule
Japanese expatriates are often eligible to benefit from the Dutch special expatriate tax regime called ‘30% ruling’. With the ruling the expatriate can obtain a tax-exempt allowance of approximately 30% of the gross salary. We have an excellent record in obtaining this ruling for our clients.
Personal Income Tax Services
The expatriates in the Netherlands benefitting from the 30% ruling are obliged to file an annual personal income tax return in the Netherlands. Our compliance team files the returns for more than 4,000 expatriates. In order to obtain the required information we use our web-based Global Advantage organizer. On your request the team reviews assessments and files appeals whenever required.
