IT strategy

Are the current IT systems suitable for future demands?

New developments sometimes make far-reaching and costly decisions in IT necessary. When you change your business strategy, ICT must be able to support the desired changes quickly. If you want to market a new product or service, systems and processes have to be adjusted quickly. When you want to start or intensify a cooperation with partners in the supply chain, IT has to make this possible. Furthermore, after a merger or takeover, different IT systems need to be integrated or replaced. These situations often give immediate cause to look closely at current IT systems and decide on a good IT strategy.

Deloitte's approach

Deloitte has broad experience of IT strategy, IT selection and IT implementation in many industries. Our advisers are discussion partners for the CEO, general management and the CIO and make the connection with IT. They combine a sound knowledge of IT developments and industries with the skills to manage processes and projects.

As part of our IT strategy, we draw up an IT project portfolio. We manage the execution of projects or fulfil the role of IT programme manager. If necessary, we draw upon the specific expertise available within the international Deloitte network.
