Mario van Vliet

Mario van Vliet (1962) was appointed Managing Partner Consulting at Deloitte in 2008, following careers at Cap Gemini Consulting, Ernst & Young and Royal Dutch Shell. 

Mario is also a professor at VU Amsterdam, where he has held the special chair in Information & Technology Management since 2011. Mario has obtained a doctorate in mathematical decision theory and was a researcher at the Radboud University Nijmegen, Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Minnesota. 

In addition to his role as Managing Partner Consulting, he was appointed to Deloitte’s Executive Board in January 2012.
