Why was Deloitte engaged?

Deloitte was first engaged to assist the client in defining a new IT strategy, after which our services were extended to solution evaluation and selection and establishment and execution of a Programme Management Office (PMO) to manage the implementation of its IT transformation programme. The applications represent the cornerstone of the entire application systems that support our client’s current business today

How did Deloitte add value?

Deloitte assisted the client in evaluation and selection of the most suitable solution for their Asset Management System and Fund Distribution System. A strategic Programme Management Office (PMO) was set up to manage the implementation of the two applications, and a set of PMO tools and processes were defined for implementation to monitor, track and mitigate any risks and / or issues arising from the implementation of the solutions.

Deloitte assisted in setting up a technical committee to evaluate and continuously define the ‘best fit’ standards for our client’s IT environment and its architecture. This is to ensure our client leverages on the state-of-art technology to constantly meet the ever changing business needs, while staying ahead of the competition. We evaluated and recommended a possible outsourcing model to be adopted by our client and its related parties in relation to the roll-out and support of the new systems to be implemented.
