Deloitte Southeast Asia’s newest study has clearly demonstrated a positive causal relationship between increasing wealth of a country and the demand for more and better healthcare. Rapidly growing economies, increasing urbanisation and an aging population have been identified as possible factors for the significant growth in demand. According to the CEOs of a number of private healthcare providers in Southeast Asia, this correlation is clearly visible in the region.
