New term for FMNs and FMVs

On October 3rd, 2007, the Mexican Official Gazette published new rules for the business men that enter into Mexico, in terms of the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

According to said rules the migratory forms known as FMN will last 180 calendar days instead of 30 calendar days as it was in the past.

Likewise, in the same date, the Mexican Official Gazette published new rules for the migratory forms known as FMVC, extending the term of said form to 180 calendar days instead of the 30 calendar days as was in the past.

These new rules will be in force as of October 4, 2007.
