Deloitte awarded the Equality Mark Certification

Deloitte has recently been awarded the Equality Mark Certification by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE), with the support of the European Social Fund (ESF).

This mark identifies and awards organisations that demonstrate a commitment towards gender equality, certifying them as true equal opportunities employers. This certification recognises Deloitte’s efforts to make sure that all rights, policies, responsibilities and family-friendly measures are offered to all staff members. This implies that equal access to opportunities and that career progression is based on the individuals’ capabilities, irrespective of their gender and caring responsibilities.

“This mark is a formal recognition of Deloitte’s commitment towards maintaining an equal opportunity workplace, and that our practices and measures in this respect are effective, up to standard and available to all staff members and prospective employees.” said Paul Mercieca, Chief Executive Officer at Deloitte in Malta.

Deloitte’s team constitutes over 200 staff members, including auditors, tax professionals and financial advisory staff members.
