Deloitte receives the Equal Opportunities Award 2011 |
On Friday 9th December 2011, Deloitte was presented with the Ministry of Education, Employment and the Family Equal Opportunities Award by The Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD).
This award demonstrates that Deloitte values the diversity of its workforce and has taken steps to develop structures and systems which ensure equal opportunities for staff members. ‘We welcome this award as formal recognition of the importance we give to standards of good practice in equal opportunities’ said Paul Mercieca, CEO at Deloitte in Malta. ‘This award demonstrates that there is strength in diversity and Deloitte policies are aligned to its business strategy’. Paul Mercieca added ‘Our appreciation, for all the time and effort goes to the HR team who worked hard in assisting Deloitte Directors and staff to achieve the high HR standards required.’
