Deloitte European Tax and Transfer Pricing practices receive top honours
Deloitte member firms received 20 awards at the 9th annual International Tax Review (ITR) European Tax Awards, held 15 May in London. For the third consecutive year, Deloitte received more awards than any other organization.
The Deloitte network received top regional honours, being named both the European Tax and European Transfer Pricing regional network of the year. Deloitte also won the prize for Best Client Connection, along with several national tax and transfer pricing awards.
“Deloitte member firms are proud to be the first in six years to have won both the European Tax and European Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year awards in a single year. This, along with ITR’s recognition of country teams individually, is a testament to the strength of the Deloitte network across Europe. Thanks go to ITR for honoring the breadth of Deloitte’s capabilities, and for recognizing the collective strength of the Deloitte network in Europe,” said Dan Lange, Global Managing Director, Tax & Legal, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL).
In addition, Deloitte tax practices in Austria, Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Central and Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, and Slovak Republic), Cyprus, Greece, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey received Tax Firm of the Year awards, while Deloitte member firm tax practices in Austria, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Norway were named Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year in their respective jurisdictions.
Leading tax and legal firms from 26 European jurisdictions, plus South Africa, were nominated for the awards. Awards were given for work performed during the previous 12-month period.
