Steve is currently the Risk and Reputation Leader of the firm. He is also responsible for a number of multi-National clients. Over the years, Steve has been responsible for the setting up of a number of emerging service lines within the Deloitte Malta and at various stages led the firm’s Information Technology consulting division as well as its Enterprise Risk Services division. Steve has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee since its inception. In more recent years, Steve has also focused on the audit of the firm’s multinational clients and has particular expertise in the Shipping and Aviation Industry.
Steve was elected to the Council of the Malta Institute of Accountants in 1985. He was appointed an officer of the Council in 1995, and was elected president of the Institute for a two year term in 2001. Steve served for four years on the Council of The Federation des Experts Compables Europeens (FEE) which is the representative organisation for the accountancy profession in Europe.
