Deloitte Malta wins Best National Tax Firm again
For the second consecutive year, Deloitte Malta was awarded best National Tax Firm 2010/2011 during the International Tax Review’s 6th Annual European Tax Awards held at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
Deloitte Malta was given the award by the global publication International Tax Review in recognition of the exceptional quality and innovation of its international tax practice in Malta. Marc Alden, Leader of the Financial Services industry tax group, received the award on behalf of the firm.
Andrew Manduca, Leader of the Malta tax practice said: "Naturally we are delighted to win this award again, given that it is determined by ITR after they conduct a rigorous assessment process, including client interviews. The prominence given to Malta as one of the European tax jurisdictions that they assess is further proof of Malta’s increased recognition in this area, which is to the benefit of all local practitioners."
Deloitte receives two FHRD People awards 2010
Deloitte was recently presented with the Learning and Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Awards by The Foundation for Human Resources Development.
The Learning and Development award acknowledges Deloitte’s commitment to its people which is critical for sustained employability and their development.
The impact of businesses on the community and the environment has assumed great importance and reputable organisations are making very effective contributions in this respect. The Corporate Social Responsibility Award recognises Deloitte’s efforts of good and sustainable CSR practices in which it has a track record and are acknowledged by the community as projects of community benefit.
Paul Mercieca, managing partner at Deloitte in Malta received the award of behalf of the firm.
Deloitte Malta wins Best National Tax Firm
Deloitte Malta was awarded best National Tax Firm 2009/2010 during the International Tax Review’s 5th Annual European Tax Awards held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on the 18th May. Deloitte Malta was conferred the award in recognition of the quality and innovation of its tax advisory, transaction related, and tax compliance work in both the areas of Income Tax and VAT. Dr Conrad Cassar Torregiani, one of Deloitte Malta’s tax partners, received the award on behalf of the firm.
2009 Transfer Pricing Award
Deloitte Malta received the 2009 Transfer Pricing Award at the European International Tax Review Awards in London.
Deloitte has received a ‘tier one’ ranking from ITR ever since Malta started being featured in the publication in 2007 and is one of only three firms to receive this accolade.
