Onch is a pioneer CPA in Mongolia and one of 18 CPAs in Mongolia who passed the first internationally recognized CPA examination in 1999.
Prior to founding Onch LLC, Onch worked at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young as a senior level auditor.
Onch has over ten years of extensive experience in auditing, accounting, and tax consulting for clients in the banking, transportation, energy, mining, manufacturing, and distribution sectors.
She has the distinction of being the first and only Mongolian practicing accountant who has worked in Big 4 firms in Ulaanbaatar as well as in Moscow. She is a member of the Tax Working Group of the Mongolian Tax Authority, Head of Tax WG, Business Council of Mongolia and BOD, Tax payers’ Association.
Norjinbat is a member or the Mongolian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and one of only 18 CPAs in Mongolia who passed the CPA examination in 1999. He is also a Certified application consultant of ACCPAC ERP software.
Norjinbat has over 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing of companies engaged in exploration and mining of mineral resources; transportation, distribution and banking sectors. He is also among the pioneers to receive extensive trainings in international accounting.
Audit and Risk Leader
Colin is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has been working for over 25 years in the professional services environment specializing in the Energy and Utilities industry. He has worked on both local and international clients in a variety of locations including the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Russia, and the CIS. Colin is also involved within the risk function of Deloitte as well as the capital markets group, having been involved in several IPOs.
Colin was a founder member of the Audit Inspection Unit a division of the Public Oversight Board for Accountancy (POBA), which is in turn a subsidiary body of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), the UK’s independent regulator of the accountancy profession.
In addition to working in the profession Colin also worked as a Vice President for Governance, Risk, Compliance, and International Reporting in a publically listed Russian oil company.
Martin I. Pow
Enterprise Risk Servicer Leader
Martin currently is the Enterprise Risk Services and Learning Leader in Mongolia. He works on the evolving and establishing of Risk Management and Quality Improvement across the Mongolia and is known as a leading Executive “facilitator” for risk management and Internal Audit sessions across Mongolia.
Martin also heads up the Mongolian Deloitte Learning and Leadership Academy which provides training and facilitation services to Clients. Martin has travelled extensively in the middle east and globally as Risk Education leader.
Nestor C. Umbac
Director, Consulting and Tax Compliance Services
Nestie has over 20 years of business consulting experience with Arthur Andersen in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Mongolia. He specializes in the design and implementation of financial systems for clients in the mining, telecommunications, energy, air transportation, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. Nestie has led major financial and operating systems projects in Mongolia.
Nestie co-manages Deloitte Onch Consulting’s consulting and tax compliance services. Nestie supervises financial reporting and Mongolian tax compliance for companies in the mining industry, professional service, construction materials. He oversees client accounting and financial reporting, statutory reporting, VAT and corporate income tax filing, payroll tax and social and health insurance filing.
He is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
