The changes in the Implementing provisions of the EU Customs Code will become
effective on 1 January 2007. A timely implementation of these changes will facilitate
the right to apply the simplified procedures, including local clearance without the
presence of customs officials.
The preparation should start as soon as possible to ensure compliance with
customs requirements!
