Ilze Znotina, Attorney at Law and Partner in Charge of Deloitte Legal, Znotina & Partners Law Firm. She has over 15 years of experience in provision of legal and tax & legal services, as the litigator and legal advisor. Ilze is attorney-at-law with main areas of expertise in litigation and arbitration, insolvency and intellectual property. Ilze has a master’s degree in International and European Law from Riga Graduate School of Law and she is a candidate for a doctor’s degree from University of Latvia.
Ilze is engaged in both comprehensive projects and ongoing consulting services to domestic and foreign Clients, especially in the fields of: corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, selected aspects of public procurement, proceedings before public authorities and before administrative courts, especially concerning diverse public liabilities and state aid – Ilze represented Clients in several proceedings before administrative courts – and tax optimization.
Ilze advised a number of Clients from diverse sectors, including manufacturing, pharmaceutical and State companies.
Ilze is the author of series of articles in the field of law and tax proceedings. Ilze is a member of Insolvency Group in FICIL Latvia.
