Starting Legal practice
Since January 2010 Deloitte Latvia has started legal practice led by Ilze Znotina as a part of professional business service. This move stems from Deloitte commitment to meet client needs better by providing the full range of professional services, helping the clients in the most complex business situations. During the economic downturn we have identified the demand for services with a significant legal component – debt restructuring, exit management, corporate reorganizations and liquidations, VAT recovery and many others – and now Deloitte is proud to provide a full range of services within the mentioned areas.
Ilze Znotina has over 10 years of professional experience, as the litigator and legal advisor, several last years as the partner in the law firm Znotina & Rubene. Ilze is attorney-at-law with main areas of expertise in litigation and arbitration, insolvency and intellectual property. Ilze has a master’s degree in International and European Law from Riga Graduate School of Law and she is a candidate for a doctor’s degree from University of Latvia.
