European and national competition law
We advise our clients on competition and anti-trust compliance, assessment of economic concentrations, design of efficient structures and approaches, representation before the Latvian competition council.
We offer full assistance and representation in front of the competition council, in relation to obtaining clearance for an economic concentration occurred from various acquisitions, including initial advice and preparation of the notification application.
We likewise analyze various contracts, including distribution agreements, from the perspective of the legal framework regulating vertical and horizontal arrangements.
Within the framework of competition law we consult our clients on the issues related to the state aid, including preparing reports and representing the clients at state authorities.
European trade and customs law
We advise our clients on the issues related to international transactions as well as to commercial and regulatory matters. On the regulatory side, we assist clients on a broad area of issues regarding customs law and practice including, but not limited to clearance procedures, transit of goods, tariffs and duties, competition policy, regulation of free economic zones and the application of international treaties.
European procurement law, including public private partnership issues
Our services include assistance during all the procurement procedure, starting from the preparation and submission of the tender until awarding the contract. We work on the review of tender regulations, tender procedure and assist our clients on the conclusion of procurement contracts. Upon requirement of a client we prepare claims to the procurement commission and the Latvian Procurement Monitoring Bureau as well as represent our clients in the complaints’ examination commission of the bureau.

Intellectual property law
