Transparency report 2011 |
On behalf of Deloitte S.A., an authorised audit firm in Luxembourg (Cabinet de révision agréé), in accordance with the provisions of the 8th EU Directive and of the Luxembourg Law of 18th December 2009 on the audit profession, I am pleased to present the second edition of our annual Transparency Report.
This report refers to the financial year ended on 31st May 2011 and has been prepared pursuant to Article 73 of the aforementioned Law.
In times where the audit profession is under ever-increasing scrutiny by regulators, market operators and by the public, it is of paramount importance that we as a firm embrace each and every opportunity to communicate the strong values and professional standards that underlie the profession in general and in our firm in particular.
This Transparency Report outlines the fundamentals of our organisation and the working principles under which we operate. They aim at ensuring that our professionals and partners work in an environment that promotes the highest levels of probity, quality and transparency, as expected by our clients and by the public.
