- There has been increasing competition for assets, particularly in the UK and Europe – Utility companies looking to gain competitive advantage and meet their renewable energy targets have been competing with other players including infrastructure funds.
- The supply chain is also struggling to keep up with demand – This situation is exacerbated by a shortage of skilled workers and materials, which is leading to cost inflation and may hamper market growth and the EU’s ability to meet its targets.
