KIID’s impact on key players
The impact of the KIIDs is not focused or centered on certain players; it stretches across the entire value chain.
The investment fund industry is facing a significant challenge to ensure the smooth production of the KIID including but not limited to:
- Data flows will need to be implemented between all the actors with strong coordination to ensure timely receipt of information
- Service models and control environments will need to be reassessed resulting in updates of procedures and processes
- IT systems will need to be reprogrammed
- Staff will require appropriate training
