Mr. Uli Grabenwarter, Head of Development - Impact Investing and Social Finance, European Investment Fund |
After 18 months of special leave dedicated to research on impact investing and responsible investing in private equity and venture capital in collaboration with IESE University in Barcelona and a large family offices foundation, Uli Grabenwarter rejoined European Investment Fund in March 2012, managing the build-up of a new business line for impact investing.
Previously Uli was Head, Equity Fund Investments at EIF and prior to that worked for several years at the European Investment Bank and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in corporate finance, project finance, finance consulting and audit.
Uli is co-author of the book “Exposed to the J-Curve: Understanding and Managing Private Equity Fund Investments” (Euromoney 2005) and of the more recent “In search of gamma – an unconventional perspective on Impact Investing” (IESE Publishing 2011).
He is also a visiting professor for Venture Capital and Private Equity at IESE Business School in Barcelona.
