Transposition of UCITS IV Directive

The Luxembourg Parliament approved on 16 December the implementation of UCITS IV scheme into Luxembourg law as well as a series of tax measures that will enhance the attractiveness of Luxembourg as a location for funds and management companies.

The new law should be published in the Official Gazette before the end of the year and will enter into force the first day of the month following its publication. However, all tax measures will apply as from 1st January 2011.
