In this year’s World Bank LPI (Logistics Performance Index) report, Luxembourg is ranked Nr. 5 worldwide. This index was created to help countries identify the challenges and opportunities they face in trade logistics performance. Luxembourg lies at the heart of the European Backbone and hence 79% of the European Union GDP can be reached from the country in one day. Its international airport is the 5th largest freight airport in Europe and is specialised in airfreight to key destinations all over the world. Luxembourg’s logistic parks, namely the “Eurohub Centre” and the “Eurohub Sud” benefit from an easy reach of airport, a direct rail connection and from the direct access to two major European Highways.
