Mrs. Delphine Munro, Head of Arts - European Investment Bank (Luxembourg)

Delphine Munro

Delphine Munro was appointed Head of Arts at the European Investment Bank three years ago. In this capacity she is responsible for the development of artistic programmes, the day to day management of the art collection, and the positioning and leveraging of the collection for both external stakeholders and internal audiences.

Prior to that, she had a 15 year experience in arts management and marketing communications. She worked for museums (Centre Pompidou, Paris), cultural institutions (Fondation Cartier, Paris; Institut Français, Prague), an auction house (Sotheby's, London) and the corporate world (BNP Paribas and HSBC, both in London).

She has a twofold education, in Economics and Finance (graduate from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris - Sciences Po - in 1991) and in art history (a post graduate diploma from the Courtauld Institute, London - specialty modern art).

Her art sector experience encompasses Arts Management, including wider Corporate Cultural Management; Marketing; and Sponsorship. Specific areas of work included strategic management of art in a corporate context; curating exhibitions; creating a cultural programme to support internal communications; devising and implementing a sponsorship strategy promoting corporate cultural responsibility in the public domain via the arts; commissioning of works of art for large private and public sector banks. Corporate marketing experience includes re-branding and advertising, notably through devising one of the world’s largest re-branding campaigns for the banking sector.

Other driving passions include gastronomy, design and travel. Delphine Munro is married with three children.
