Ms. Cornelia Stender, Founding Partner – Collective Works, Munich
Throughout her career Cornelia Stender worked between the art world and the financial services industry. Cornelia is a certified banking clerk and holds a master degree in art history.
She advised the Sal. Oppenheim group on a number of art related matters and was Deputy Head of the Art Client Services team of the Art Banking department of UBS AG in Basel.
Prior to her joining UBS, Cornelia was in charge of curating the art collection of Dresdner Bank AG, where she inter alia executed several architectural art projects.
Cornelia is a founding partner of Collective Works, which focuses on advising financial institutions and private collectors in matters relating to art. This includes training courses for client advisors to expand their understanding of the "art world", as well as conceiving and implementing art related exclusive client events on an international basis.
Cornelia is passionate especially about contemporary art and benefits from a large and deep-rooted network into all areas of the international art world.
