Nilgün is a directeur within the audit department and has over 15 years' professional experience in auditing and regulatory compliance. She is leading the professional practice function within national office as a specialist in the areas of accounting and auditing standards, quality control systems and practice protection. Nilgün is also leading the activities of our Turkish desk in Luxembourg.
She is a Turkish certified accountant and financial advisor.
Nilgün started her professional career as an auditor in Deloitte Turkey. Before joining Deloitte Luxembourg, she worked on audits of banks and commercial companies and due diligence engagements in Turkey for nine years.
Nilgün has a B.Sc. degree in economics from the University of Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey).
She is fluent in English and Turkish, and intermediate in French.
