Founded in 1950 by Rodolphe Gerbes, Georges Kioes and René Schmitter, ‘L’Agence’ merged with ‘Hamilius & Schmitter’ in 1968 and became the Fiduciaire Générale de Luxembourg. In 1978, the FGL joined the Touche Ross International network, and in 1991, Deloitte & Touche Consulting was incorporated as a legal entity, with Arno Schleich as first Managing Partner.
In 1999, Touche Ross Luxembourg SàRL was absorbed by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and in 2000, Maurice Lam took office as Managing Partner.
In 2010, Yves Francis took office as Managing Partner and Deloitte Luxembourg joined Deloitte SE (a cooperation agreement between 7 DTTL member countries) while DTTL takes number one position as the largest professional services organisation in the world.
