Gilbert is a partner in Deloitte’s Luxembourg consulting practice. He has a multidisciplinary background, both from an industry and professional perspective; he started his career in audit in the UK, Belgium and Luxembourg offices before spending 11 years at clients in operational domains before returning to Deloitte in 2001 to head the Life Sciences & Health Care (LSHC) practice, as well as its sustainable development consulting services and human capital advisory service lines.
Gilbert is actively involved with the overall Deloitte Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) industry group (made up of the LSHC specialists of more than 4,000 professionals in over 47 countries) in order to leverage its expertise to support client information and operational needs in Luxembourg and the “Grande Région”.
Under Gilbert’s leadership, the life sciences & health care team of Deloitte Luxembourg provides various services to the industry and has acquired a broad industry expertise through projects carried out at clients such as Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL), Entente des Hôpitaux Luxembourgeois (EHL), Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.
