Bernard is a partner within the international tax department and joined Deloitte Luxembourg in November 1999. He is in charge of an international tax group focused on multinationals (mainly U.S.-based clients) investing in Europe. Bernard serves large international and multinational companies for group restructurings. He was part of the International Core of Excellence (ICE)/Luxembourg desk in Deloitte Tax LLP's New York office on a two-year assignment.
Bernard is a chartered accountant (Expert comptable) and a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg taxation committee.
Bernard has a degree in applied economic sciences from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Louvain, Belgium).
He is fluent in French and English.
