François is a partner within the tax department, specialist in tax advice for the financial and investment sector, especially financing structures and hybrid financing, private equity, real estate funds, international structuring and securitisation. He is also a member of the Luxembourg investment fund association (ALFI), the Luxembourg banks and bankers association (ABBL), and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). With the ABBL and the ALFI, he has participated in various working groups, including : securitisation Act 2004, Luxembourg vehicle Société de Gestion de Patrimoine Familia (SPF) as an alternative to 1929 holding companies and pension funds.
Before joining Deloitte Luxembourg, he worked in legal and tax offers of a bank in Luxembourg for 6 years.
François has a masters in corporate law from the Université de Nancy (Nancy, France), a postgraduate magistère in domestic and European legal affairs from the Université de Nancy (Nancy, France) and a degree in European legal studies from the Maastricht University (Maastricht, The Netherlands).
He is fluent in French and English.
